    Prop Suggestions for more torque

The pond I have is not large enough to reach top speed, but it sure would be handy to be able to get up on plane quicker. Would a 3 or 4 blade prop give me more torque, or is the pitch of the prop more important?

Also, my boat is completely stock. Will I run into any drive train issues with a torquier prop?

Any other mods I should do ?

Sorry for all the questions but I'm new to RC boats.

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry, this took so long for me to get with you. If you have a stock Spartan, it's best for you to go to a bigger pond, or get a smaller boat for your smaller pond. You don't want to prop up or down with a stock Spartan. If you are interested in a better prop, but not a different prop, let me know. There are a few after market props that are stainless or brass that work the same as stock. As far as mods, look at some of my posts...they're are many. The sky's the limit with a Spartan, that's one of the best things I like about it.

For a 3 props. you’ll get more cavitation which lead to a slower run. If your doing just donuts and hole on the water 3 props is the best. But for speed 2 props. is what we use.
