Just wondering on thoughts about the Pro-line powerstroke shocks for short course.

They are not a bad upgrade to the stock Ultra Shocks. But, if you haven't learned to tune your current shocks, you really will not get much for your money with the Proline shocks (or any upgrade shock), other than a little bling.

I have some. I personally wouldn’t pay retail for them. I got mine with used rigs and let others pay the depreciation.
They are good shocks but not noticeably better on my rigs. Ive got a spring now to tune them.
I was also shocked at the rebuild costs. Cha-Ching! I could practically buy brand new ultra shocks...

I've heard OK things about the Proline shocks. The GTRs are a good upgrade as well. I run them on my Slash Ultimate. Add the Revo tuning kit and VG racing springs and they're tough to beat. Jennys is out of stock now but they'll likely return. Good luck!!
